Charles Ward was born and raised in Macon, GA. He graduated with a B.A. in Art with a concentration in Drawing from Piedmont College in Demorest, Georgia. He recieved a Master of Arts in Teaching from Georgia College & State University in 2006. He recieved his Master of Fine Arts in Fine Arts at Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, NC.

He currently resides in Macon, GA with his wife, Michelle, and daughter, Maya. Charles is Assistant Professor of Art in the department of Media, Culture, and the Arts at Macon State College.
